Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) Announced Sixtyfive (65 ) Jobs For Sub Engineer BS-14 On a Contract Basis for The Period of 03 Years In the Public Health Engineering Department, Punjab. Last Date 14 March 2022.

Lahore: The Punjab Government, Pakistan has announced sixty-five (65) vacant posts Of Sub engineer BS-14 In the Public Health Engineering Department (North & South),  through the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC). These jobs are on a contract basis for a period of 03 years ( extendable as per government policy).

Out of 65 posts, forty-five (45) are for open merit, ten (10) posts for females, seven for special persons and three (03) for minorities.

Qualification:

Three years Diploma of Civil Technology from any recognized institute under Punjab Board of Technical Education.

Age Limit:

Male: 18 to 28 + 5 = 35 years
Female: 18 to 28 + 10 = 38 years

As per Government of the Punjab Notification st No.SOR-I (S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 21 May 2012 and Notification No.SOR-I (S&GAD)9-th 2/2022 dated 26 January 2022.

Note: The age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.

Special NOTE:

In case, a large number of applications are received, shortlisting shall be carried out on the basis of the academic records of candidates or on the basis of one paper MCQs Type Written Test. Syllabus of Written Test (if Held): One paper MCQ Type Written Test of 100 Marks and 90 minutes duration.

The syllabus is as under:-

a) Qualification-related questions: (80%) i.e. Three years Diploma in Civil Technology

b) General Knowledge including (20%) Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science and Computer Studies

All Candidates Must Read Following General Instructions

i) Number of chances for Competitive Examinations shall remain at 03 and there shall be no change for Competitive Examinations, including Combined Competitive examinations.
ii) There shall be no limit of chances where recruitment is being made through one paper written test followed by an interview or interview alone if a candidate obtains qualifying marks (40% marks) in the written test irrespective of the fact that whether he/she is called for interview or not and if he/ she obtains qualifying marks (50% marks) in interview irrespective of the fact that whether he/ she is recommended or not. (For example: if a candidate qualified for the written test with 40% qualifying marks and called for an interview, but he/ she could not obtain qualifying marks (50%) in the interview, his/ her chance will be considered as availed.)
iii) If a candidate is an applicant for more than one subject he/ she shall be allowed 3 chances in each subject for which he/ she is a candidate, in accordance with the laid down policy. For example, for the post of Lecturer in the Education Department, a candidate who is an applicant for more than one subject shall be allowed three chances in each subject for which he/ she is a candidate in accordance with the above laid down policy.
