Islamabad: OGRA has reduced the price of LPG by Rs.14.31 per kg for December 2021. The new price of LPG has been fixed at Rs. 216.89 per kg, OGRA has issued a notification to reduce the price of LPG. According to media reports, OGRA has issued a notification to reduce the price of LPG, under which LPG has been reduced to Rs 14.31 per kg for December, after which the new price of LPG has been reduced to Rs 216.89 per kg. Similarly, the domestic cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 168.90, while a domestic cylinder of LPG has become cheaper by Rs 2390.44.
In November, the domestic cylinder was Rs 2,559.35. The new LPG price will be applicable from December 1, 2021.
On the other hand, according to New TV, the Petroleum Division has received a working summary of OGRA’s reduction in oil prices. In the working summary, it has been proposed to reduce the price of petrol by Rs. 05.00.
The price of High-speed diesel is likely to be reduced by one to two rupees per litre. Prime Minister Imran Khan will decide today whether to reduce or maintain the prices of petroleum products. The price adjustment will be announced before 01 December 2021. Earlier, a spokesman for the finance ministry had said that prices of petroleum products could fall in December. Finance Ministry spokesman Muzammil Aslam said in a Tweet released on last Saturday that the price of crude oil in the global market has come down to $72 to $72.91 per barrel. The fall in global oil prices will definitely have an impact on imports and prices of petroleum products. Muzammil Aslam further said that Allah is kind to Pakistan, the effects of the reduction in oil prices in the world market will be seen on December 15 in the prices of petroleum products.
