LPG price increased by Rs. 5 per kg, domestic cylinder by Rs. 60, commercial by Rs. 200
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the price of domestic and commercial LPG by Rs 5 per kg for October, the second increase in LPG prices this month. According to private news channel Hum News After that, the price of domestic cylinder increased by Rs. 60 and that of the commercial by Rs. 200. The price of LPG in the country has gone up to Rs 125 per kg while the price of the commercial cylinder has gone up to Rs 200. LPG needs to be imported. The government should take immediate steps in this regard.
The baseless allegations of Asim Iftikhar (Director Intelligence and Investigation, Inland Revenue, Karachi) created an atmosphere of fear and panic in the market. Due to this LPG importers stopped importing gas due to false allegations. This damaged the government treasury.
