The First Public Holiday Of The Year 2021 In Pakistan Will Be On February 5, Kashmir Day, Eid-ul-Fitr on May 14, and Eid-ul-Adha on July 21 Expected.
Islamabad: The government of Pakistan has released details of holidays for the year 2021. Next year, the first public holiday will be on Kashmir Day on February 5, Eid-ul-Fitr on May 14, and Eid-ul-Adha on July 21 (subject to the appearance of the Moon). According to the details, the world has finally emerged from the most difficult year of its recent history, 2020, and entered the year 2021. Pakistan is also eagerly awaiting the start of the new year.

Prior to the start of the year 2021, the Ministry of Interior released details of public holidays during the year 2021. According to the circular, February 5, 2021, will be the first public holiday on the occasion of Kashmir Day.
Similarly in connection with Pakistan Day on 23rd March 2021, on the occasion of Labor Day on 1st May 2021, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr 1st Shawwal 1442 AH on 15th, 14th, and 16th May 2021 (subject to the appearance of the Moon), on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha 10 Zul-Hijjah 1442 AH on 22nd, 21st and 23rd July (subject to the appearance of the Moon), on Independence Day There will be public holidays on 14th August, Ashura Muharram 19th, 18th August (subject to the appearance of the Moon), Eid Milad-un-Nabi on 12th Rabi-ul-Awal on 19th August (subject to the appearance of the Moon), Quaid-e-Azam D and on 25th December on the occasion of Christmas.
On December 26, one day after Christmas, there will be a holiday for the Christian community only. January 1, 2021, April 14, Ramadan, and July 1, 2021, will be a bank holidays.
According to the Circular of the Ministry of Interior, Pakistani may enjoy fourteen 14 public holidays and twenty 28 optional holidays in calendar 2021.

The optional holidays are denominational and the head of the office may use his/her discretional power to exercise it, so working of office not suffered.
For the government servants who want to avail optional holidays, it is compulsory that they take prior permission from the head of the office. In one calendar year, only one optional holiday may be availed.
The first and last day of 2021 is Juma (Friday).
