NEPRA Approves reduction of 44 paise per unit in monthly fuel charge adjustment in the unit price of electricity. Notification issued.
ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved a reduction of 44 paise per unit in the monthly fuel charge adjustment in the price of electricity per unit. Unit reduction requested.
According to the details, the NEPRA notification said that the decision would be applicable only to the bills for the month of June, would not be applicable to up to 300 unit users, lifeline, and agricultural consumers, besides, Not so with electric consumers.
Chairman NEPRA has said that load shedding takes place in the feeders where losses are high. We have written that load shedding should not be done but the government has to do it. A monthly report is being prepared.
